The brief

One workspace instead of six subscriptions.

An independent operator runs the business across a CRM, an invoicing tool, a notes app, a scheduler, a content calendar and a code host, and pays each one to hold a piece of the picture. CMD-OS started as the command center this studio built to replace that stack for itself. We rebuilt it as a multi-tenant product so any operator can have the same thing: sign up, pay one flat monthly price, switch on the modules the business needs, and connect the AI tools they already use.

What we built

  1. 01

    One workspace per customer, enforced by the database

    Every row of customer data carries its workspace, and Postgres row-level security enforces it: a query can only read or write its own workspace's rows, and a query with no workspace in scope fails before it reaches the database. Isolation doesn't depend on every developer remembering a WHERE clause, and a lint in the test suite keeps the unscoped connection out of app code.

    Sign up, pay, pick your modules

    Signup, Stripe Checkout and the customer portal, with nothing set up by hand per customer. Today, tasks, notes and the ⌘K palette are always on; CRM, calendar, AI, GitHub sync, fitness, content and agent access are switched on at onboarding, and the navigation follows them.

    A CRM that runs on real money

    Clients by stage with deal value, recurring revenue and time since last contact, wired straight to proposals and invoices — so the pipeline number and the money owed come from the same record rather than two systems that disagree.

    The client-facing half, published

    Proposals signed in the page, invoices with a payment link, booking pages, embeddable lead forms and a link page, each served by the workspace it belongs to, and each stops serving if that workspace's subscription lapses.

    Your AI tools, with a short list of hands

    Each workspace gets its own MCP server URL, so Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor, VS Code and Claude Code can work inside it. Sixteen tools, filtered by the modules that are switched on; six of them write, and none can delete anything or touch money, a pipeline stage or a follow-up cadence. Tokens are stored only as hashes and work only at the URL they were issued for.

    Privacy customers can serve themselves

    A full data export and account deletion sit in settings, and both stay reachable after a subscription lapses. Only strictly necessary cookies, Global Privacy Control honoured, and lead-form IP addresses cleared after 30 days.

Where it stands

Built and heading to launch. It grew out of the single-user command center this studio runs on every day, which stays separate. The repository is private; the screenshots below come from a local build of CMD-OS, seeded with an invented studio and fictional clients.
